Olympia Chamber Choir

The NWVA Olympia Chamber Choir, a 32-voice ensemble to be made up of 16 of the region’s finest vocal professionals, eight high school choral interns and eight collegiate choral scholars.

We have a limited number of openings (all voice types) in our professional core and the next round of auditions for the 2026-2027 season will take place August 30 from 2-4pm Rose City Park United Methodist Church. Please fill out the form below and schedule an audition time slot.

Singers interested in joining this select choral ensemble should be prepared to sing an art song or aria and successfully sight-read from a choral excerpt. Larger, operatic voices are still encouraged to audition and will be considered assuming singers can demonstrate the ability to blend when required.

Professional singers will be paid a competitive hourly rate. Rehearsals will take place on Monday nights from 6-9pm and will be consolidated into blocks of 4, 3-hour rehearsals leading up to the concerts. Our upcoming season will consist of a fall concert featuring Faure Requiem on Oct. 18th (3pm), our holiday concert entitled Voices of Winter on Dec. 20th (3pm) and 21st (7pm), and our spring concert Cordillera: Range of the Americas - Music of Mexico on March 14, 2027 at 3pm.

Preference will be given to singers that can commit to a full season, but we are also building a roster of top-flight substitutes, so please consider auditioning even if all the dates do not fit your calendar.
