Choral Apprenticeships

We believe in the power of musical excellence, youth mentorship, and community outreach to foster generational transformation. Northwest Vocal Arts endeavors to inspire future choral and vocal leaders who will go on to positively impact others through their artistry, voices, and passions.

To help accomplish this mission, every year Northwest Vocal Arts selects eight talented high school students (grades 11-12) to serve as our Choral Apprentices. Those selected will sing with and be mentored by our professional artists as members of the Chamber Choir and serve as section leaders for the NWVA Youth Choir.

These singers must be current members of their high school chamber choir and/or another auditioned choral ensemble. Choral Apprentices receive a full tuition waiver and are paid a quarterly stipend.
