About
Evergreen Youth Choir (EYC) is a premier youth choir in Portland, led by choral director Karen Bohart, a music educator with over 30 years of experience. EYC is entering its third year of giving all students a chance to develop their voice and find community, and with the support of NWVA’s sponsors, all students receive a 100% tuition scholarship.
What you’ll get
More than just a choir: professional vocal coaching, rehearsals alongside dedicated choral students from around the Portland metro area, and the chance to perform exciting literature in three concerts this season — Fauré's Requiem, Voices of Winter, and Cordillera.
Commitment
Every member signs a commitment pledge and attends all weekly rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals are every Monday night at Rose City Park United Methodist Church, 5830 NE Alameda St, Portland.
