Evergreen Youth Choir

We are excited to welcome ALL students grades 8-12 to sing in the NWVA Youth Choir under the direction of Karen Bohart. This is more than just a choir: you will receive professional vocal coaching, sing with other dedicated choral students from around the PDX metro area and perform exciting literature in three concerts.

Thanks to generous donors, every member of our youth choir will be provided with a 100% tuition scholarship, regardless of prior experience and without audition. This sponsorship is a valuable investment in your talent. We hold our members to a high standard of excellence. All members are required to sign a commitment pledge and attend all weekly rehearsals and performances.

We will rehearse every Monday night beginning September 14 from 7-8:30pm at Rose City Park United Methodist Church, located at 5830 NE Alameda St. Portland, OR 97213.

Our upcoming season will consist of a fall concert featuring Faure Requiem on Oct. 18th (3pm), our holiday concert entitled Voices of Winter on Dec. 20th (3pm) and 21st (7pm), and our spring concert Cordillera: Range of the Americas - Music of Mexico on March 14, 2027 at 3pm.
